Eric Vanderwall

Eric Vanderwall is a writer, editor, and musician. He released the solo acoustic guitar album Precious Memories in 2017, followed the next year by its companion album Take Time to Be Holy.

He has published academic articles, book reviews, and fiction. His peer-reviewed article on exile and homecoming in Ernest Hemingway’s In Our Time appeared in the spring 2023 issue of The Hemingway Review. Eric has published three articles on Philip Roth in Philip Roth Studies and presented on east/west motifs in Roth’s work at the 2023 ALA conference in Chicago.

Mr. Vanderwall regularly publishes book reviews. His primary interest is European literature from the 19th century to the present.

He has published several pieces of short fiction and is working on a novel.
