Alex Hapka

Dr. Hapka is the CEO of a diversified services company comprised of two divisions: a consulting arm that specializes in quantitative consulting engagements in the areas of investments analysis, productivity improvement, forecasting, quality assurance applications, and brand performance and an e-commerce subsidiary company that furnishes high-end sporting equipment to both the wholesale and retail domestic and international markets.

Previously, Dr. Hapka was Chair, Graduate Studies in Management and Associate Professor of Business Administration at MidAmerica Nazarene University located in Olathe, KS.

He has over 30 years of research and technology management experience spanning the financial management, energy, and aerospace industries. Dr. Hapka has served on several boards of nonprofit organizations devoted to energy education and management.

Dr. Hapka earned a Ph.D. from New York University in finance and statistic applications, an M.S. in applied statistics from Stony Brook University, and a B.S. in mathematics from Manhattan College. He has published several journal articles and is a frequent lecturer at various industry meetings and conferences on the applications of quantitative analytics in finance, energy management, and business management.
