Eric Hobsbawm

Eric Hobsbawm is professor emeritus, Department of History, Classics and Archaelogy, and president, Birkbeck University of London. One of Britain’s more revered historians, he has a long record of ideas and works, among them his trilogy on the long 19th century: The Age of Revolution, The Age of Capital, and The Age of Empire. He lives in London.
